Job Summary:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure that all activities are executed in a logical sequence and completed within the contractual timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules using planning software.
- Identify critical path activities and potential delays.
- Coordinate with project teams to align resources with the schedule.
- Prepare progress reports and delay analysis for management.
- Evaluate subcontractor programs and provide support for entitlement claims.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
