Restaurant Company with Multiple Locations
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls and meaningful management information to support decision-making across our operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper data capture, coding and processing.
- Administer and maintain QuickBooks, including Chart of Accounts, locations/cost centres, reporting structures, month-end cut-off and year-end rollover.
- Prepare monthly P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements and management accounts.
- Prepare internal management reports and analysis of revenue, costs, margins, ratios and variances.
- Prepare financial information for GRA, audits and other statutory requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet and control accounts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies and procedures.
- Provide ad hoc financial and analytical support to management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification or in progress is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in multi-branch or high-volume operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong QuickBooks experience, including administration and reporting.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, controls, reconciliations and Ghana tax requirements.
