TW Mines is seeking a motivated and qualified National Service Personnel with a background in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field to join its team at the Suhyenso mining site near Obuasi. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in mineral processing, metallurgical operations, and plant performance monitoring while supporting the technical team in daily mining and processing activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily metallurgical and mineral processing operations at the mining site.
• Support the monitoring of processing plant performance and operational efficiency.
• Collect samples and assist with metallurgical tests and analyses.
• Help monitor mineral recovery, ore processing, and product quality.
• Record operational data and assist in preparing technical reports.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance recovery rates and reduce processing losses.
• Assist in identifying and reporting operational challenges affecting plant performance.
• Follow established health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Work collaboratively with metallurgists, engineers, plant operators, and other site personnel.
• Participate in assigned technical tasks, training, and other duties related to metallurgical operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
• A degree or relevant academic background in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be eligible for and available to undertake National Service.
• Willingness to work at the TW Mines site in Suhyenso, near Obuasi.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow technical instructions.
• Strong sense of responsibility, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
