Assist in creating guidelines for investment products, support compliance inspections, review financial reports, communicate findings, respond to inquiries, contribute to departmental reporting, address complaints, and support investment-related projects.
Major Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of regulatory standards for Collective Investment Schemes.
Assist with inspections, prepare reports, and communicate findings to market operators on timely basis.
Monitor compliance through review of statutory returns.
Prepare sanction letters for non-compliance issues.
Provide support for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide inputs for the Unit's section of departmental reports.
Assist in the complaint resolution process.
Respond to correspondence and inquiries from market operators.
Represent the Commission at annual general meetings investors meetings, and other relevant stakeholder engagements and prepare reports to management.
Provide input into project management undertaken in the Investment Management Department
Perform other duties within the scope and intent of the job as required from time to time
Educational Qualification and Experience
A minimum of a First Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or relevant field from an accredited tertiary institution.
GISI/GSE Course Certification will be an added advantage
A minimum 1-year relevant working experience
