JOB SUMMARY
Operations Officer (Construction) -
Responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and safety/quality standards. Requires strong expertise in project management, quantity surveying, and government tender processes.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in construction or civil engineering.
• Proven experience with government tenders and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of project management, contracts, and construction methods.
• Proficient in project management tools, MS
Office, and construction software.
OPERATIONS
OFFICER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
2. Assist in preparing and reviewing bids for government and private tenders.
3. Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and quality.
4. Conduct cost analysis, quantity take-offs, and valuations.
5. Collaborate with managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
6. Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies.
7. Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
