An Oil Marketing Company (OMC) engaged in the resale/retailing of petroleum products in the downstream petroleum sector of the Country needs to employ an individual with the required skills and experience for the position of SALES & NETWORK OFFICER.



Responsibilities:
- To execute the Sales strategies of the Company’s Business to Business (B2B) and Retail units.
- To identify and prospect new accounts for corporate growth.
- Manage and implement company’s credit policy.
- Establish contacts, continuously expand network and maintain a good relationship with clients.



Preferred Qualification & Skills
a. Applicant must have the minimum of a first Degree in Business or related field from a recognized University. An MBA or related Master’s degree however, will be an advantage.
b. He/she must have minimum of 2 years working experience in the areas of Retail, B2B Sales, Marketing and Network Planning.



In addition, the applicant must exhibit the following:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both external and internal customers.
- Ability to identify market segments, niches and potential markets and prospect accordingly.
- Creativity with effective organizational skills.
- Ability to plan, formulate and implement strategies.
- Quick decision-making abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to confidently present company portfolio in terms of speciality products to support continued sales growth.
- Proven track record in the marketing and sales of petroleum products in the downstream sector.
- Ability to work independently.
