Accountabilities:
• Supporting the FCDO in delivering the Chevening Partnerships Strategy for Chevening, to secure additional partnerships with universities, corporate, and local partners in country.
• Develop the Chevening Partnership strategy, developing and implementing the annual partnership plan. Ensuring that the targets for growing partnership income and in-kind partnership support are realised. Ensure monitoring, evaluation and learning of the strategy is embedded to inform future improvements.
• Ensuring accurate records and forecasts of partnership income and in-kind income are kept to provide budget controls and forecasting.
• Provide reports and updates on partnership development for the programme management.
• Maintain and develop relations with current and prospective partners, communicating the value of partnering with Chevening and gaining insights and understanding of the value Chevening brings to partners. Ensure partners are recognised and thanked. Develop the pipeline for potential future partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience of using CRM systems (eg Salesforce) for partnership account management
• Ability to apply Chevening policy appropriately and consistently, and to flag any areas of existing policy that may need reviewing with senior colleagues
• Strong administrative skills, including the ability to manage information accurately on databases and IT systems.
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of partnership development and income generation, including the ability to clarify service/product offerings, identify value propositions from the partner’s perspective, to develop new partnerships, and to diversify funding streams.
• Knowledge of international higher education students.
• An understanding and demonstrable commitment to embedding the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion into work projects.
