Job Application:
- The Supply Chain Lead will oversee and optimize procurement and logistics functions to ensure efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across the organization. This role is critical for ensuring the timely availability of goods and services to support safe and efficient mining operations, while fostering strong supplier partnerships and driving strategic value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire supply chain process—from sourcing and procurement to delivery and distribution
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives
- Optimize inventory management, demand planning, and warehouse operations
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, cost savings, and reliability
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve performance
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, finance) to forecast demand and ensure product availability
- Lead logistics operations, including transportation planning and carrier management
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions
- Implement digital tools and technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency
- Manage and mentor supply chain staff, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in supply chain or logistics leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain analytics tools
- Proven track record in cost reduction, process optimization, and vendor management
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-country environments
