Job Description
Silgh Engineering Limited is looking for an experienced Field Service / Wellhead Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wellhead systems used in oil and gas operations. The successful candidate will work with drilling and completion teams to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, inspect, and maintain wellhead systems.
- Conduct pressure testing and troubleshoot equipment faults.
- Support drilling and completion teams during wellhead operations.
- Ensure equipment is operated according to technical specifications and safety procedures.
- Prepare service reports and document maintenance activities.
- Identify equipment defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with clients and technical personnel during field operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5–10+ years of field experience with wellhead systems.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, pressure testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Proven ability to work directly with drilling and completion teams offshore.
- Degree or HND in Mechanical, Petroleum, Oil & Gas Engineering, or a related field.
- Wellhead OEM training and knowledge of API 6A.
- Valid onshore/offshore safety certification and medical clearance.
