Role Summary:
Finance professionals ensure the fiscal discipline of Pakistan Railways by managing budgets, auditing accounts, and ensuring transparent financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Officer: Maintain general ledgers, handle receivables/payables, and prepare financial statements.
- Audit: Conduct internal audits to verify financial transactions and ensure compliance with government treasury rules.
- Budget: Prepare annual budget estimates, monitor expenditures, and analyze cost management for various railway divisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent.
- Preference for candidates with ACMA, CA (Inter), or PIPFA certifications.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
