Commerce Alliance Holdings Limited is seeking to engage a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant with a strong background in the capital market and financial services industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury management, and strategic financial planning across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, SEC regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Oversee tax planning, compliance, and statutory remittances.
Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and investment-related transactions.
Prepare and submit regulatory returns within stipulated timelines.
Develop and maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes.
Support executive management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Supervise and mentor members of the finance team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
Minimum of 7 years' relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role.
Proven experience in the capital market, asset management, stockbroking, investment banking, or related financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience preparing SEC and other regulatory filings.
Knowledge of investment and portfolio accounting.
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be an added advantage.
