Key Responsibilities:
- Operate abrasive blasting equipment (sand, grit, or shot) to clean and prepare metal surfaces.
- Regulate air pressure and abrasive flow rates for optimal surface profiling (e.g., SA 2.5).
- Wear and maintain full protective gear (blast helmet, suit, respirator).
- Mask or protect surrounding areas and finished components from media overspray.
- Recover, screen, and recycle blasting media where applicable.
