Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Mason to join our manufacturing plant’s maintenance and construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining concrete structures, foundations, walkways, and building facades within the industrial facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones to construct or repair factory structures, walls, and foundations.
- Mix mortar and concrete to specified ratios for various construction tasks.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Repair and restore damaged structures, including floors, pillars, and loading bays.
- Ensure all masonry work complies with safety standards and building regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to complete construction projects on schedule.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SHS certificate (SHS Graduate).
- Valid Ghana Card (mandatory).
- 2–5 years of proven experience as a mason, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of mixing proportions for concrete and mortar.
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors or in dusty environments.
- Must reside in or around Tema (Comm 25 area).
