Job Description
Four Points by Sheraton Accra Airport Hotel is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Cashier to join its team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily cash transactions, processing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- * Receive and process cash, card and other customer payments.
- * Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle daily transactions.
- * Issue receipts and ensure accurate billing.
- * Maintain proper records of daily cash transactions.
- * Balance cash and reconcile daily sales.
- * Handle customer enquiries and payment-related concerns.
- * Ensure accuracy and accountability in all financial transactions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- * HND or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- * Minimum of Second Class Upper or higher.
- * 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Required Skills and Competencies
- * Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros, Opera or similar hospitality software.
- * Strong mathematical and organisational skills.
- * Excellent attention to detail.
- * Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- * Ability to work under pressure.
- * Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
- * Honesty, accuracy and good customer service skills.
