Job Description
Prime Glass is looking for a competent and detail-oriented Professional Accountant to manage financial records, support budgeting activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will help maintain sound financial controls, support tax compliance, and provide reliable financial information to management for effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, cost estimation, cash-flow monitoring, and expenditure control.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Monitor income and expenditure and investigate financial discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial records.
- Maintain effective financial controls and recommend improvements to accounting procedures.
- Provide financial information and reports to support management decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant working experience.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High levels of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
