By developing strong consultative led business relationships, you will build and execute strategies to retain and grow profitability of corporate pension schemes, champion Royal London’s propositions and spot opportunities for cross/up selling where appropriate.
Attend pitches to support the acquisition of new clients, alongside Business Development team.
You will be a trusted partner at a senior key influencer/stakeholder level spotting opportunities for Royal London to deepen, develop and diversify our reach through the introduction new products and services that are relevant for the client.
Develop a proactive contact strategy and regular engagement with a key development plan in place to ensure retention of existing clients and realise growth ambitions working with the workplace pension client to anticipate their needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
You will work with colleagues across the business to maximise opportunities for profitable new business production, providing meaningful insight to help develop our proposition and ensuring it meets the evolving needs of employers and financial advisers.
Identify and manage opportunities to support the delivery of key campaigns to ensure optimum results.
Use risk reporting and risk management information to help inform and set priorities, actively seeking to reduce our largest exposures or weaknesses by fostering a culture of openness.
About you
Experience within a Relationship Management role, with a demonstratable and successful track record within Pensions in Financial Services.
A strong understanding of the competitive landscape and the knowledge to discuss and debate industry issues, technical and legislative updates, with the ability to present these in a competent and influential manner.
Excellent and highly developed planning, prioritising and co-ordinating skills to manage a varied and pressurised workload, whilst focussing on the Royal London strategy.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders through different channels.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong time management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and multitask effectively.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
Analytical skills with the ability to spot trends and tailor the right actions as appropriate.
