Role Purpose:
The Financial Reporting and Compliance Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of FG Gold’s financial reporting and compliance obligations. The position supports internal and external financial reporting, lender compliance, and statutory regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on CTA and covenant reporting. The role is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including audited financial statements and supporting management commentaries. It also ensures full compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting obligations, coordinating submissions to relevant authorities such as the NMA, Local Content Secretariat, NRA, SLEITI, and other applicable regulators.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Educational Background:
Holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting from a recognised and reputable institution, with professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant and/or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
