Job Description
Strategic Jobs Africa is seeking a practical and detail-oriented Fleet Risk and Asset Management Specialist to oversee fleet-related financial risks, vehicle inspections, debt collection, insurance claims, maintenance coordination, and asset security for an electric vehicle fleet operator in Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage debt collection and revenue risk control.
- Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and fleet audits.
- Coordinate accident investigations and emergency incident management.
- Oversee vehicle repairs, maintenance, and after-sales coordination.
- Monitor vehicle performance, operational risks, and asset conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, incidents, and maintenance.
- Support insurance claims and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify risks and recommend measures to protect company assets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of experience in fleet management, vehicle rental, auto insurance claims, debt collection, or work-and-pay operations in Ghana.
- Practical knowledge of vehicle repairs, basic electric vehicle/automotive diagnostics, and insurance claims.
- Valid Ghanaian driving license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Twi is mandatory; Ga or Ewe is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills.
