Job Title: National Service Personnel – Fleet Management Officer
Job Summary
ShaQ Express is seeking National Service Personnel to join our Fleet Management team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of the company's fleet by maintaining accurate records, coordinating vehicle and rider assignments, monitoring maintenance schedules, and ensuring fleet safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for riders, drivers, vehicles, and motorbikes.
- Coordinate daily vehicle and rider allocations.
- Monitor vehicle inspections and report defects.
- Track preventive maintenance and servicing schedules.
- Record fuel and EV charging activities.
- Coordinate vehicle breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance.
- Maintain fleet documentation, including insurance and roadworthy certificates.
- Liaise with mechanics and service vendors.
- Record accidents and safety incidents and follow up on corrective actions.
- Prepare fleet reports on availability, maintenance, compliance, and utilization.
Requirements
- Eligible for the 2026/2027 National Service.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle or motorbike maintenance is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site and follow operational schedules.
- Safety-conscious with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid driver's or rider's licence is an advantage.
- Background in Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, Automotive Studies, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with fleet tracking systems, GPS, or asset management tools is an added advantage.
