Job Description
An electric vehicle company in Ghana is seeking a qualified and experienced Head of Finance to oversee its financial operations and support strategic business decisions. The successful candidate will manage financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and financial controls to promote business sustainability and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- * Develop and oversee the company’s financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- * Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- * Monitor cash flow, expenditure, revenue, and financial performance.
- * Establish effective financial controls and risk management procedures.
- * Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- * Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions.
- * Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisers, and other financial stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
- * Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- * Professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ICAG, or CIMA, is an advantage.
- * Relevant experience in financial management or a senior finance position.
- * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and financial controls.
- * Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- * Ability to communicate financial information clearly and support strategic planning.
- * Experience in the automotive, energy, technology, or start-up sector is an advantage.
