Roles & Responsibilities

1. Policy Development & Compliance Management

o   Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with global and local labour laws across all operational countries.

o   Ensure full compliance with employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal standards in each jurisdiction.

o   Work closely with our local legal teams in each operational region to provide jurisdiction-specific guidance and support on HR matters.

o   Regularly audit HR practices for consistency, risk mitigation, and legal alignment across regions.


2.   
HRIS & Data Management (BambooHR)

o   Oversee the effective use and continuous optimization of the HRIS tool (BambooHR) for employee data, onboarding, leave management, performance tracking, and reporting.

o   Ensure data accuracy and integrity while using HR analytics to inform strategic decisions and drive process improvements.

3.  Leadership & Talent Development

o   Design and deliver leadership development programs that build managerial capabilities across regions.

o   Identify high-potential talent and implement succession planning strategies.

o   Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and leadership accountability.


4.     Performance Management

o   Lead the implementation of structured performance management systems, ensuring consistency in goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback cycles globally.

o   Support managers in conducting evaluations and providing coaching for performance improvement and career growth.


5.      Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution

o   Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters across regions, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

o   Handle grievances, complaints, and conflict resolution in a timely, sensitive, and legally compliant manner.


6.    HR Team Leadership & Support

o   Lead, mentor, and support the HR Executives, ensuring their development and alignment with global HR priorities.

o   Foster cross-functional collaboration and consistency in HR service delivery across countries.


7.    International Talent Acquisition & Mobility

o   Oversee recruitment across all regions, ensuring efficient hiring processes tailored to local markets.

o   Manage international mobility processes, including visa, relocation, and onboarding support, while ensuring compliance with immigration laws.

o   Manage all phases of recruitment, including job description creation, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiations, and onboarding in collaboration with HR team members.


8.   Collaboration with Senior Management

o   Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address HR-related challenges, anticipate workforce needs, and implement proactive, strategic solutions that align with business goals.



9.     Compensation & Benefits Strategy

o   Collaborate with finance and leadership to develop regionally competitive compensation and benefits programs.

o   Ensure transparency, fairness, and legal compliance in remuneration practices across locations.


10.  Culture, Engagement & Inclusion

o   Promote a unified, inclusive workplace culture across diverse teams and geographies.

o   Lead engagement initiatives and employee experience strategies tailored to each region’s context and workforce dynamics.


11. Reporting & Strategic Insight

o   Produce and analyze HR metrics and reports (e.g., turnover, engagement, diversity, performance) using BambooHR and other tools.

Provide strategic insights to senior leadership to support business decisions and workforce planning.

Familiarity with international HR practices, particularly in regions relevant to recruitment and employee support, especially for organizations with a diverse workforce.

Significant experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds, enabling effective communication and collaboration. 

Understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt HR strategies and practices to cater to the unique needs of different regions.

 

3. Data-Driven and Analytical Approach:

Proficient in using HR analytics and metrics to track, measure, and assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, aligning with business objectives.

Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous HR strategy enhancement.

 

4. Technology and HR Systems:

Experienced in utilizing HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as BambooHR to streamline HR processes, manage employee records, and improve reporting capabilities.

 

Proven track record of implementing and managing HR systems to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and overall HR operational effectiveness.


5. Strong Ethical Standards and Confidentiality:

High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards in handling sensitive HR information, ensuring confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws and regulations.

7. Results-Driven:

 Person Specification:

·       Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field).

·       A minimum of 7 -10 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3 years in a multi-country HR leadership or management role. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

·       CIPD Level 7 (Advanced Diploma) or currently working towards it is highly desirable,

·       Proven experience in core HR areas including policy development, compliance, performance management, employee relations, and leadership development.

·       Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and employee relations.

·       Hands-on experience managing HRIS platforms, preferably BambooHR.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

·       Prior experience managing or mentoring HR team members.

·       Strong understanding of employment laws and HR practices across multiple jurisdictions.

·       Demonstrated ability to collaborate with legal teams and senior management to resolve complex HR challenges.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

        Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; proficiency in additional languages is          a plus
