Job Description
Silgh Engineering Limited is seeking a technically skilled Running Tool / Installation Specialist with hands-on experience in wellhead running and installation tools. The successful candidate will operate, prepare, inspect, and maintain specialist equipment used in wellhead installation and completion operations, ensuring safe and reliable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, operate, and inspect wellhead running and installation tools.
- Support installation activities involving casing/tubing hanger running tools and associated equipment.
- Handle test tools, wear bushings, lockdown tools, and related equipment.
- Verify equipment readiness before deployment and report defects.
- Follow equipment-specific operating procedures and technical instructions.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of running tools.
- Maintain equipment records and report operational issues.
- Coordinate with field engineers, supervisors, and offshore teams.
- Comply with safety procedures and applicable offshore requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5–10+ years of hands-on experience with wellhead running and installation tools.
- Experience with casing/tubing hanger running tools, test tools, wear bushings, lockdown tools, and associated equipment.
- Previous experience with the specific OEM/equipment to be deployed is highly desirable.
- Relevant engineering or technical qualification.
- OEM-specific running-tool competency/training strongly preferred.
- Valid offshore safety certification and medical clearance required.
