Job Summary
VDL Fulfilment is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Assurance Associate to join its Warehouse Operations team. The successful candidate will ensure that goods received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched meet the company’s quality standards and are handled accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect goods delivered by vendors, verifying quantities, product conditions, and delivery documents.
- Ensure products meet required quality specifications and agreed standards.
- Identify and report defective, damaged, counterfeit, or incorrectly supplied goods.
- Document and escalate discrepancies, shortages, excess deliveries, and quality issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, labelling, storage, and received goods.
- Conduct quality checks during picking, packing, sorting, dispatch, and returns processing.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate missing or misplaced packages.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and quality standards.
- Prepare daily quality assurance reports and follow up on identified issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, quality control, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
