iSmart Global is seeking a proactive and technically skilled National Service Personnel to join its team as a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer. The successful candidate will support network monitoring, system availability, technical troubleshooting, and the resolution of network-related issues to ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- * Monitor network systems, servers, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- * Identify, document, and escalate network incidents and service outages.
- * Provide first-level technical support and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- * Assist with system configuration, maintenance, and software updates.
- * Maintain accurate network documentation and prepare daily performance reports.
- * Collaborate with IT and technical teams to resolve issues promptly.
- * Support network security and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- * Must be eligible for National Service placement.
- * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- * Basic understanding of networking concepts, including routers, switches, TCP/IP, and network monitoring tools.
- * Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- * Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems is an advantage.
- * Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- * Good communication and documentation skills.
