A reputable company is looking for a creative and enthusiastic National Service Personnel to fill the position of Video Editor.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and producing engaging video content for the company’s marketing, promotional, and communication activities. The candidate will work with the creative team to transform raw footage into high-quality videos suitable for social media, digital platforms, and other company-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce videos for social media, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Review raw footage and select suitable clips for editing.
- Add transitions, music, subtitles, captions, and visual effects where necessary.
- Create engaging short-form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Ensure videos meet the company’s quality and branding standards.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and the marketing team on content projects.
- Organize and maintain video files and project assets.
- Stay updated on video editing trends and digital content formats.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for National Service.
- A degree or relevant qualification in Film Production, Multimedia, Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Basic knowledge of sound editing, transitions, colour correction, and visual effects.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and good storytelling skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
- A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work are an advantage.
