Role Purpose
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Operational Research Analyst Intern to help analyze complex problems and improve decision-making using mathematical models, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques. You will support the operations team by collecting and processing data, conducting research, and assisting in the development of analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing data, developing models, and providing insights to optimize business operations.
- Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Support the development of analytical models using statistical and optimization techniques.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members using digital collaboration tools for project coordination.
- Conduct research to support business decisions and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as Python, R, or similar.
- Basic understanding of optimization techniques and modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
