Job Description (summary):
In this role you will lead the development of new agricultural products and the improvement of existing ones for Maxim Agri. Your responsibilities will include:
• Researching and analysing market needs, competitor products, and customer feedback to identify product opportunities.
• Working cross-functionally with R&D, production, quality, marketing, and sales to design, test and launch new product formulations or variants.
• Managing product lifecycle: from ideation, prototype/design, pilot trials, scaling to full production and market introduction.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, quality and safety standards in agri-products.
• Monitoring performance of launched products, gathering metrics and market feedback, and driving product enhancements as needed.
• Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to define positioning, packaging, launch plans and go-to-market activities.
• Setting timelines, coordinating resources, managing budgets and ensuring delivery against launch milestones.
• Staying up to date with agricultural trends, input technologies, farming practices and feeding/nutrition solutions to bring innovation into product pipeline.
