Key Responsibilities


  • Provide comprehensive technical support and fault troubleshooting for the PTN network to ensure continuous service availability and performance.  
  • Resolve all PTN-related trouble tickets aligned with the Level-3 Maintenance Contract SLA between ZTE Pakistan and the customer.  
  • End-to-end delivery of technical projects: planning, implementation, testing, documentation and successful handover.  
  • Coordinate with customer representatives to address network issues, respond to technical queries, and support operational or planned network activities.  
  • Prepare and submit detailed Incident Reports and Root Cause Analysis documentation for any PTN-related faults.  



Technical Requirements / Technologies


  • Experience in MPLS-TP: configure, maintain and troubleshoot MPLS-TP tunnels and services.  
  • Knowledge of ETH OAM (IEEE 802.1ag and ITU-T Y.1731 standards) for fault detection and performance monitoring.  
  • Use of SNMP tools (for example ZTE NetNumen) for network management.  
  • Experience in L2VPN / L3VPN deployment and support for enterprise customers.  
  • Understanding of Time Sync technologies (SyncE, IEEE 1588v2) in LTE/5G network environments.  
  • Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are highly preferred.
