Job Description
• Provide comprehensive technical support and fault troubleshooting for the PTN (Packet Transmission Network) to ensure continuous service availability and performance.
• Resolve all PTN-related trouble tickets in accordance with the Level-3 Maintenance Contract SLA between ZTE Pakistan and the customer.
• End-to-end delivery of technical projects including planning, implementation, testing, documentation and successful handover.
• Coordinate with customer representatives to address network issues, respond to technical queries and support operational or planned network activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed Incident Reports and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for any PTN-related faults.
• Hands-on experience required in:
• MPLS-TP: configure, maintain and troubleshoot MPLS-TP tunnels and services.
• ETH OAM (according to IEEE 802.1ag and ITU-T Y.1731 standards) for fault detection and performance monitoring.
• SNMP tools such as ZTE NetNumen for network management.
• Deploying and supporting L2VPN/L3VPN services for enterprise customers.
• Time sync technologies like SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 in LTE/5G network environments.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are highly preferred.
