We are seeking a highly experienced and senior Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting and financial reporting functions and address critical process gaps. This role is ideal for a seasoned, hands-on professional who can work closely with the MD and provide strong financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions
Review, correct, and close critical accounting process gaps
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations
Prepare timely management accounts and reports for the MD
Oversee month-end and year-end close activities
Ensure full compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
Improve and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
Provide sound financial advice and insights to senior management
Mentor and guide finance staff where required
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years relevant accounting experience
Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CPA, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax, and regulatory compliance
Proven experience fixing accounting gaps and strengthening controls
High level of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism
