About the Role
Twyford International is seeking a skilled and hands-on Survey Engineer to support its construction projects in Takoradi/Shama. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting-out activities, maintaining survey control, conducting field surveys, and ensuring construction works comply with approved drawings and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- * Establish and maintain survey control points on construction sites.
- * Set out structures, grid lines, levels, and other construction elements using approved drawings.
- * Conduct topographic, as-built, and volume surveys.
- * Prepare survey drawings, measurements, and technical reports using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- * Verify contractors’ work against approved designs and report any discrepancies.
- * Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GNSS/RTK systems, and levelling instruments.
- * Work closely with construction teams to ensure accurate measurements and timely project delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- * HND or bachelor’s degree in Geomatic Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline.
- * At least three years of practical experience in construction setting-out and surveying.
- * Proficiency in using total stations, GNSS/RTK equipment, and levelling instruments.
- * Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- * Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- * Ability to work effectively with construction teams and meet project deadlines.
