Job Summary: Operate compaction equipment to achieve required soil/asphalt density for roads and foundations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smooth drum and padfoot rollers/sheep foot compactors.
- Compact fills, subgrades, and asphalt layers to specified densities.
- Monitor moisture content and pass counts.
- Perform routine equipment checks and minor servicing.
Requirements:
- Valid Operator License.
- 2+ years of compaction equipment experience.
- Understanding of soil compaction principles.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
