Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Personal Driver to provide safe, courteous, and timely transportation services for executives, staff, and authorized personnel. The ideal candidate will be punctual, well-groomed, and capable of maintaining vehicles in excellent condition while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation & Driving
- Safely drive designated company vehicles to transport executives, staff, and visitors to and from offices, meetings, events, airports, and other locations as required.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals while avoiding traffic congestion.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (tyres, oil, water, fuel, lights, brakes) to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times (interior and exterior).
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately and coordinate timely servicing and repairs.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, including mileage, fuel consumption, trips, and servicing records.
3. Safety & Security
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and vehicle at all times.
- Exercise defensive driving techniques and anticipate road hazards.
- Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, roadworthy, registration) are valid and up to date.
4. Administrative Support
- Assist with errands such as document delivery, banking, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding passengers' conversations and company matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) certificate or equivalent.
- A Diploma in any field is an added advantage.
Licensing & Certification:
- Valid Ghanaian Driver’s License – Class B.
- Defensive driving certificate is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as a Personal Driver, Executive Driver, or Chauffeur.
- Experience driving high-profile individuals or corporate executives is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of Accra and surrounding road networks.
- Defensive driving skills and a clean driving record (no major accidents or violations).
- Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify faults and perform minor repairs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
