About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals that meet our established standards. Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to our recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
- Menu Execution: Efficiently execute menu items during peak hours while minimizing waste and maintaining speed.
- Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Food Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to food safety and HACCP regulations, including proper storage, temperature control, and labeling of ingredients.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock rotation, monitor ingredient freshness, and communicate supply needs to the management team.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Handle kitchen tools and equipment with care, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Catering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or cooking role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of portion control and waste reduction.
