Job Summary
An opportunity is available for a results-driven Demand and Supply Planner to manage demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain coordination. The successful candidate will use historical data, statistical models, and market trends to forecast demand, optimise stock levels, and ensure product availability while supporting efficient end-to-end supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- * Forecast product demand using historical sales data, statistical models, and market trends.
- * Coordinate monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and demand reviews.
- * Analyze inventory levels and adjust replenishment and ordering plans accordingly.
- * Collaborate with production, logistics, sales, and finance teams to align supply with demand.
- * Manage supplier relationships and monitor delivery schedules.
- * Analyse supply chain performance and recommend process improvements.
- * Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to minimise disruptions.
- * Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and key performance indicators.
- * Coordinate the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process.
- * Work closely with sales and customer development teams to improve service delivery.
- * Participate in supply chain improvement projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- * Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- * Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
- * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience handling business data.
- * Familiarity with supply chain planning software and inventory management systems.
- * Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- * Ability to interpret data and translate insights into effective planning decisions.
Additional Advantage: Professional certifications from APICS or the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
