Job Description
Zijin Golden Ridge Limited is seeking a competent, organized, and safety-conscious Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and supplies while ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient warehouse processes, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure materials are properly labelled, stored, and handled.
- Supervise warehouse staff and allocate duties to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide updates on stock movements.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce losses.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or materials control is an advantage.
- Experience supervising warehouse staff will be beneficial.
- Good knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse management practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accurate records.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and company procedures.
