Job Description
NAFSA is seeking qualified professionals for senior leadership positions to support the development and implementation of policies, regulatory programmes and operational strategies. Successful candidates will oversee departmental activities, coordinate technical teams and ensure that organizational objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead departmental planning, implementation and performance monitoring.
- Develop policies and strategies to improve agricultural trade and food safety.
- Supervise staff and coordinate regulatory activities.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare departmental reports and advise senior management.
- Coordinate with government agencies, industry stakeholders and technical experts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in agriculture, food science, veterinary science, public administration, management or another related discipline, depending on the position.
- Significant professional experience in a relevant field.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and government operations is an advantage.
