VACANCY: FITTER (C3)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the above-mentioned position that has fallen vacant in the Central Group Technical Services Department at Kango Products Division. The aspiring candidates must possess the following prerequisites:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Class 1 Skilled Worker Fitter with at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience.
• Minimum National Certificate in Machine Shop Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical presses, pneumatics and hydraulics, pumps and hoists are
key
• A clean class 4 driver's license would be an added advantage
• Must be aged between 30-45 years
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends
• Be able to work under pressure
> Have an appropriate set of Fitters' tools as stipulated by the Department of
Manpower Development
• Be in a position to start immediately
RESPONSIBILITIES
Among other duties the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
> Install, maintain and enhance pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components
• Trouble shooting and repairing mechanical presses
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows Mechanical Codes, Blueprints and standards.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned within the Treger Group of
Companies
