We are seeking a commercially astute leader to drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and disciplined portfolio management within a high-volume bulk petroleum distribution business.
This role carries full commercial accountability for local and export sales performance, pricing governance, credit exposure, and gross margin protection across a portfolio expected to exceed GHS 800M – 1.0B annually, depending on market conditions.
The successful candidate will:
· Lead bulk sales strategy across industrial, mining, marine, and reseller segments.
· Optimize gross margins in a regulated, price-sensitive environment.
· Manage receivables and working capital in a high-credit exposure model.
· Drive volume growth (target range: 100M–150M litres annually).
· Strengthen discount controls and incentive frameworks.
· Expand market share within Ghana and selected ECOWAS corridors.
Profile:
· Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
· 8 – 12+ years’ commercial experience in downstream oil marketing or bulk fuel trading.
· Proven leadership of high-performing sales teams.
· Strong understanding of petroleum pricing structures, BDC/OMC economics, and credit governance.
· Financially literate with advanced analytical capability.
