 Job Description
We are looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager responsible for developing equipment sales and supporting dealer business across assigned West African markets. The role focuses on identifying sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, supporting dealers, and expanding business with construction companies, quarry operators, mining contractors, and project customers operating in the region, including Chinese-affiliated contractors. This position serves as a key commercial role within the Ghana subsidiary and supports communication and business coordination between customers, dealers, the local subsidiary, and HQ.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Customer Development

  • Develop and manage sales opportunities in assigned countries.
  • Visit customers, contractors, and project sites regularly.
  • Identify potential projects and generate equipment demand.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up to closing.
  • Conduct commercial discussions and negotiations with customer.

Dealer Support

  • Support dealers in quotations, customer meetings, and project follow-ups.
  • Assist dealers in product selection and application matching.
  • Monitor sales activities and provide market feedback.
  • Support after-sales coordination when required.

Project & Key Account Handling

  • Manage relationships with contractors, quarry operators, and mining customers.
  • Follow up tenders and project-based equipment requirements.
  • Support customers with equipment recommendations and commercial proposals.
  • Handle customers affiliated with international or Chinese companies where applicable.


Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain sales pipeline and forecast reports.
  • Provide periodic market and competitor information.
  • Coordinate internally with service, parts, and HQ teams when necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years sales experience in one of the following.
    - Construction equipment,
    - Mining equipment,
    - Commercial vehicles (trucks) or Industrial machinery.
  • Proven experience dealing with contractors, equipment users, or industrial customers.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and customer management capability.

Preferred

  • Experience with construction or mining equipment OEMs or dealerships.
  • Experience working with Chinese OEM brands (e.g., SANY, XCMG, LiuGong, SDLG, Zoomlion, etc.).
  • Exposure to quarry, mining, or infrastructure project environments.
  • Understanding of dealer-based distribution models.
  • Mandarin Chinese language ability is an advantage but not mandatory.
