CEO Africa is a Ghana-based venture studio that builds innovative and scalable companies across Africa. The organization works with entrepreneurs, SMEs, investors and partners to develop businesses, improve operations, access finance and create jobs and economic growth. Its work includes venture building, SME advisory and investment-support programmer.
What You’ll Do
• Analyze SME businesses and investment opportunities.
• Support financial and commercial due diligence.
• Prepare financial models, investment documents and investment memos.
• Monitor portfolio performance, repayments and risks.
• Support SMEs with financial management and business growth.
• Coordinate technical assistance and advisory support.
• Build relationships with investors, funders and ecosystem partners.
• Support programmes such as the WE-POWER Fund and Mastercard FAST.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 3–5 years’ experience in SME advisory, investment management, project management and/or entrepreneurship consulting.
• Strong financial analysis and business advisory skills.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong writing, presentation and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Networks with investors, funders or financial institutions are an advantage.
