Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Verto's expansion into the UAE, identifying key industries and business segments that would benefit from our payment and FX solutions.
Business Development: Lead the identification and engagement of potential clients, ranging from SMEs to large enterprises involved in international trade, to promote Verto's offerings.
Partnerships: Forge strategic partnerships with local banks, financial institutions, and industry associations to enhance market penetration and service offerings.
Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven culture. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and ensure the team is aligned with company goals.
Systems & Processes Management: Manage and optimize sales systems and processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business goals. Oversee CRM usage, reporting, and sales operations to maximize productivity.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all sales activities adhere to UAE regulations and Verto’s internal policies. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to mitigate risks and ensure seamless operations.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Use this data to guide product development, refine sales strategies, and inform marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 6 years in B2B sales within the fintech or financial services industry, with at least 2 years focused on the UAE market. Proven experience in managing and scaling sales teams and processes.
Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders across the UAE's financial and business sectors.
Cultural Competence: Deep understanding of the UAE’s business culture and practices, with the ability to navigate and operate effectively in a diverse environment.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Systems Expertise: Experience managing CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting tools to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
