Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full-set accounting, ensuring strict compliance with Ghanaian tax laws, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting records, transactions, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements and reports.
- Handle GRA tax compliance, including PAYE, VAT, withholding tax, and Corporate Income Tax.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide required documents and audit schedules.
- Monitor cash flow, payables, receivables, and inventory.
- Provide financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Handle full-set accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 5-10 years or more of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Certification: ICAG qualified or completed all ICAG professional examinations; full membership is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience handling full-set accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing. Strong knowledge of Ghana tax requirements and experience dealing with GRA and external auditors.
- Software Skills: Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
- Industry Advantage: Experience in trading, automotive, logistics, distribution, or inventory-intensive businesses is an advantage.
