The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening HR governance, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives across the business.

JOB PURPOSE

The Corporate HR Officer will support the organization’s strategic business objectives by driving effective HR governance, employee development, workforce planning, and people management initiatives. The role will focus on building organizational capability, strengthening employee engagement, supporting leadership development, and ensuring HR policies and processes align with business goals and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in corporate HR operations, talent management, succession planning, and employee relations within a fast-paced corporate or manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Management & Workforce Development

  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving employee competencies and reducing organizational skills gaps
  • Support workforce planning and succession management strategies to build strong leadership pipelines
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and development
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate employee learning interventions
  • Support leadership development and high-potential employee programs

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Drive positive employee relations initiatives and foster a productive work culture
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to improve morale, productivity, and retention
  • Support conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes in line with company policy
  • Promote organizational values and a collaborative working environment

HR Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices remain compliant with labour laws and company standards
  • Support the implementation of HR governance frameworks and policy consistency across departments
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation
  • Participate in audits and compliance-related HR activities

Corporate HR Projects & Communication

  • Lead and support corporate HR projects aligned with strategic business objectives
  • Manage internal and external HR-related communications effectively
  • Support employer branding and organizational culture initiatives
  • Coordinate HR reporting, analytics, and management updates
  • Utilize digital communication tools and internal platforms such as newsletters and employee communication systems

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ professional Human Resources experience
  • Proven experience in HR governance, policy implementation, and organizational development
  • Demonstrated success in succession planning and talent pipeline management
  • Strong background in capability development and skills gap reduction initiatives
  • Experience managing the full talent lifecycle from acquisition to employee development
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and engagement strategies
  • Experience leading complex HR projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
