Job Purpose
To provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for restaurant operations, including delivery of orders, collection of supplies, and transportation of staff, while maintaining assigned vehicles in excellent condition.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive restaurant vehicles for deliveries, errands, and staff transportation as directed by management.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of food orders to customers, maintaining food quality and presentation.
- Collect supplies, groceries, and equipment from vendors and markets as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (oil, brakes, tyres, fluids) and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, recording mileage, fuel usage, and trip details.
- Ensure routine vehicle maintenance (servicing, washing, minor repairs) is performed on time.
- Comply with all Ghana Road Traffic Regulations and company driving policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Driver's License (Class B, C, or D) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional driving experience in a corporate or hospitality setting.
- Certificate in defensive driving is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.
