About the Role
Rekrut Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable manufacturing company for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will lead production, quality, maintenance, inventory management, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily factory operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
Oversee production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing costs.
Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Lead production, maintenance, quality assurance, and warehouse teams.
Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Logistics to ensure efficient operations.
Drive productivity improvements, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
Requirements
HND/B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related discipline.
A Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 10–15 years' progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 5–7 years in a factory or production management role within the FMCG, detergent, chemical, or related manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management, inventory control, manufacturing operations, and cost optimization.
