PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk is a holding company for a business group engaged in nickel and other mineral mining, processing, and other related activities that are vertically integrated with the strategic mineral value chain and electric motor vehicle battery. We are looking for experienced and qualified talent to join one of our subsidiary PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral (SCM) for the following positions:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering or a related field
- Good understanding of sampling procedures and sampling methods
- Ability to identify ultramafic rock types and evaluate the degree of serpentinization
- Strong understanding of lateritic nickel profiles, associated lithological layers, and mineralization
- Holds a valid POP Certificate
- Placement: Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi
Key Roles:
- Conduct geological logging, data collection, sampling, sample preparation, and drill core sampling
- Manage and coordinate various geological campaign programs to ensure sample quality is maintained
- Identify ore types in a sample prior to vehicle extraction for further analysis
- Determine appropriate locations for duplicate sample collection and the insertion of standards and blanks
- Assess duplicate quality and determine their suitability for use
- Ensure the ore grade is consistent with the required ore grade based on the volume from sampling
