Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant Flagman to direct vehicle and machinery traffic at our site. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient movement of equipment, vehicles, and pedestrians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic and signal operators of heavy machinery and vehicles using hand signals, flags, and radios.
- Ensure the safety of pedestrians and workers around moving vehicles.
- Set up and maintain safety barricades, cones, and warning signs.
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators and site supervisors.
- Monitor traffic flow to prevent accidents and congestion.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Basic education; no formal degree required.
- Previous experience in construction, logistics, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Clear communication skills and quick reaction time.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and Saturdays.
