Role Overview:
GIS & Geospatial Analysts use geographic information systems and remote sensing to support research, evaluation, and development projects with spatial data and mapping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and manage geospatial data (satellite imagery, GPS data).
- Create maps, dashboards, and spatial visualizations.
- Conduct spatial analysis to support project targeting and evaluation.
- Integrate geospatial data with other datasets for comprehensive analysis.
- Provide GIS training and technical support to project teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geospatial analysis.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, and remote sensing software.
