Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plant HR/Admin Manager to oversee all human resource and administrative operations at our manufacturing plant. The role will manage the HR/Admin Officer and the wider admin team, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, operational efficiency, and alignment with group HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage end-to-end HR and administrative functions at the plant.
• Supervise the HR/Admin Officer, admin staff, drivers, and office assistants.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, induction, and exit processes in line with company standards.
• Manage payroll inputs, staff attendance (biometrics), leave administration, and HRIS usage.
• Drive performance management, appraisals, PIP processes, and workforce productivity.
• Coordinate staff welfare, HMO administration, insurance, and employee relations.
• Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and promote a positive plant work culture.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR policies.
• Prepare HR reports, training plans, and support audits and ITF reimbursement processes.
• Work closely with Safety and Operations teams on OHS, EMS, PPE usage, and compliance.
• Oversee plant administrative functions including facilities, vehicles, and general support services.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6–8 years HR/Admin experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, payroll, performance management, and employee relations.
• Proven people management and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive issues.
• Professional HR certification is mandatory.
